Product Warranty
LIMITS OF WARRANTEE:
Crane Interiors, Inc. (Crane) warrants to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that
its products are free from defects in workmanship. This warrantee applies to normal
recommended use and service of the OEM and its customers for an effective period of
three (3) years from the sale by the dealer or four (4) year FOB date of our dock,
whichever comes first. This Warrantee is limited to that which is explicitly set forth
herein with no other warranty expressed or implied.
Our sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace any defective
parts and does not extend to incidental or consequential claim, loss or expense of any sort.
Warranties for material failures are provided solely by the supplier of that material to
Crane Interiors. We reserve the right to inspect all claims to confirm the defect and our
liability for the same. Products should be returned with approval of Crane, freight prepaid
to our factory or authorized repair shop. Products should not be returned by the
customers or dealers of the OEM without the prior written approval of the OEM.
AUTHORIZED REPAIR:
Products may be repaired by Qualified OEM Dealers. In this case, Crane's liability is
limited to repair labor cost, transfer freight costs on Crane approved carriers, and
pass-through of replacement materials and credits from material suppliers, as stated per
its Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) issued PRIOR to the commencement of work. Crane
limits its labor costs liability to written standard time and rate schedule agreements with
the OEM in effect on the date of the RGA. Otherwise, Crane may limit its liability for
labor costs based on Crane's "best estimate".
EXCLUSIONS:
Crane makes no warrantees relative to the merchantability, fitness, or safety for a
particular purpose unless said claim is offered in writing. Designs are solely per request,
approval, and authorization of the OEM.
This Warrantee does not apply to any products, which Crane determines to have been
abused, neglected, misused, improperly installed, or damaged through improper use of
cleaning procedures or materials.
At the request of the OEM, Crane may supply accessories, which are not an integral part
of the products, which it manufactures. Warrantee claims for these items are the
responsibility of the OEM.
